Being a Creatrix means knowing when it’s time to Being a Creatrix means knowing when it’s time to push past the constraints of the identities you have outgrown. 🌹🗡 I’ve been reflecting on the crux of my purpose and it dawned on me, labeling myself solely as an “astrologer who works with creatives” paints a limited and limiting picture. Earlier this year, I could feel the time to shed the Zodiac Poetry identity and use my real name on my social media platforms was drawing closer. At this point it’s a matter of days. Just waiting for that one auspicious election to make it official. ; ) I live and breathe astrology. It’s profoundly embedded in my personal worldview and it informs the way I navigate my experience of reality on a marrow-deep level. And yet, “helping creatives actualize their vision using Astrology” is but the tip of the iceberg. There’s a whole monolithic chunk of multi-dimensional magic underneath. Astrology is but *one* of the tools I use, albeit a foundational one. Astrology helps me to meet you where you are, contextualize your experience and offer affirming, supportive guidance, but it’s not the full extent of my role. Perhaps it’s not entirely about art, either. Art itself is a bridge. It’s the connective tissue holding guts, skin and marrow together. It’s a doorway to the rich, symbolic Underworld of desires, shame and obsessions that would be otherwise difficult to reach.
